THE PROCESS

All consultations and fittings will be with Jennie.

'The first meeting will be to meet me for your free consultation. For this you may bring any inspiration or sketches you all ready have and we will discuss design options for your gown.

You will have the opportunity to try on some of our sample corsets and gowns to see what shapes and colours suit you. We will then talk through colours, fabrics, styles and budget. There will also be an opportunity for you to look through the Arabesque Design portfolio and through many historical fashion and costume references, before I take a full set of measurements from you.

After the first consultation a final design drawing of your dress is created, which is what I will use to cut and create your gown. On presentation of this design 50% deposit should be made and a Design Contract agreed.

The next stage will be to fit a complete calico toile (prototype) of your dress. There will then be at least 2 more fittings using the chosen fabric until the Gown is completed.

Your completed Gown can be collected or delivered to you, I am also available for booking on the day of the wedding to help you into your dress as part of the styling service.'
